Meet The captain - Trey Dunavant

As an avid outdoorsman since a young age, Trey has experienced world-class fishing trips from the northwestern reaches of Alaska to the streams of Colorado and the flats of Florida. However, his favorite fishing destination remains his native waters of coastal North Carolina and Virginia. Raised on the North River, a tributary to the Albemarle Sound, he began targeting light tackle species at the age of 4. As he matured, Trey developed his skills in targeting saltwater species in the coastal waters of North Carolina and Virginia. His true passion lies in sight-fishing for trophy Red Drum and Cobia, which are among the two most popular trophy fish during the summer months on the Chesapeake Bay. With multiple North Carolina and Virginia Saltwater Citations for species including Cobia, Red Drum, and Sheepshead, Trey has been on the water for the majority of his life and boasts over 25 years of experience operating vessels. As a certified sportfishing captain by the United States Coast Guard, he is eager to guide you towards your fish of a lifetime!
